NVIDIA Reportedly Set to Increase Prices for GPUs Featuring GDDR6 and GDDR7 VRAM Kit

Jul 24, 17:27

July 24th, according to the tech media Benchlife, Nvidia (NVDA.O) has sent a price increase notification to its board partners, affecting GDDR6 and GDDR7 memory kits. It is reported that Nvidia sells products to board partners by bundling the GPU chip with VRAM (memory) chips to form kits for supply, and partners are responsible for installing these chips on their own designed PCB (printed circuit board) to produce custom graphics cards.

Due to the upcoming price hike of GDDR6 and GDDR7 memory kits, it is expected that AIB (Add-in Board, graphics card board) manufacturers will have no choice but to increase the graphics card prices accordingly. (Jinse)
