After two denials, Genius Robot officially launched its Hong Kong IPO.
According to Cognition Beating monitoring, SmartGen Innovation has announced that it has initiated the process of listing in Hong Kong. The three-year-old general AI robotics company, which denied Hong Kong IPO rumors twice last year, has now publicly confirmed for the first time that it is pushing forward with a Hong Kong listing.
SmartGen has not yet disclosed the filing time, fundraising scale, and target valuation. The South China Morning Post reported that the company has engaged Citi, CICC, and Morgan Stanley as sponsors. SmartGen has not confirmed this detail.
According to Omdia data, SmartGen shipped 5,168 humanoid robots in 2025, accounting for approximately 39% of the global market share, ranking first in shipments.
This month, XYZ Technology has received approval for its STAR Market IPO. While XYZ is sprinting for a listing on the A-share market, SmartGen is shifting its focus to Hong Kong stocks. Both top-tier robotics companies have entered the listing stage.
