Goldman Sachs Maintains Neutral Rating on Intel with Stock Price Target of $150
July 24th, Goldman Sachs analyst James Schneider, following Intel's second-quarter earnings release, maintained a neutral rating with a target price of $150 per share.
The analyst noted that the company is expected to see a rise in stock price driven by a strong quarter and guidance, benefiting from the better-than-expected performance of the data center and client sectors, a significant increase in gross margin, and positive comments on supply agreements and capital expenditure.
Goldman Sachs added that investors were in a constructive position ahead of the quarter, supported by the recent strong performance of server CPUs, ongoing momentum in advanced packaging technologies, and signs of progress in advanced fab nodes.
