QQ Pet, after nearly 8 years of being offline, has made a comeback, and it has even been squeezed into the Hy3 model.

According to Analysys Beating, Tencent has officially launched a new version of QQ Pet on mobile QQ. The original version was shut down in 2018, and nearly 8 years later, it has returned in the form of a 3D cute pet, incorporating Tencent's Hy3 large model. Android and iOS users can search for "QQ Pet" within QQ to claim theirs.

The new version retains classic gameplay such as feeding, bathing, working, and studying. Players can choose their pet's appearance and personality, and the pet will actively respond to its owner, as well as allowing for dressing up and interactive tapping.

The pet will also appear in the chat list and chat box. Users can visit friends' homes to feed and bathe their pets, and even continue the "spark" through interactions.

However, when it was shut down in 2018, all old accounts and character data had already been wiped. The pet users receive this time is a new one; the one they raised back then is gone for good.
