SK Hynix has retraced nearly 50% from its June high, Samsung Electronics has experienced a cumulative decline of about 41%, and KX has plummeted by over 60%.

July 28th, according to Bitget market data, the storage sector has entered a technical bear market, with South Korean stock SK Hynix dropping from its June peak of 2,987,000 South Korean Won (about $2,043) to 1,550,000 South Korean Won (about $1,060), a nearly 50% decline; Samsung Electronics dropped from its June high of 374,500 South Korean Won (about $256) to 220,000 South Korean Won (about $150), a roughly 41% decline. The South Korea KOSPI index reported 6,023 points, down about 36% from its June high of 9,385.59 points.

Japanese storage stock Kioxia fell from a high of 112,700 Japanese Yen to 44,550 Japanese Yen, a drop of over 60%.

According to BIT (bit.com) market data, in the U.S. stock market, Micron Technology saw a pullback of about 29% from its peak, SanDisk saw a pullback of about 46% from its peak, Seagate saw a pullback of about 29%, Western Digital saw a pullback of about 38%. The Roundhill Memory ETF (DRAM) saw a pullback of over 35%, and the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index saw a pullback of around 21%.
