President of the St. Louis Fed: Hoping Fed Will Soon Begin Gradual Tightening

August 1st, Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis President Bullard pointed out that the recent signal from the U.S. Treasury bond sell-off is that the Fed needs to gain inflation-fighting credibility through effective communication and necessary action every day, and is inclined to hike interest rates slightly and gradually earlier rather than significantly later.
