Grok's Illustration and Photo Retouching Ranked 2nd Globally, Image2.0 Launched

According to Vision Pulse monitoring, xAI has released Grok Imagine Image 2.0, and the new model is now live on the Grok web platform and mobile app. Users can switch to the "High Quality Mode" in Imagine to use it. This upgrade focuses on improving command understanding, text formatting, and the consistency of continuous generation.

This update has also enhanced the image editing capabilities. Users can now selectively edit a specific area of an image while keeping the rest unchanged. Additionally, they can automatically crop and expand images, and combine up to 5 reference images for composite editing in one go.

According to the latest Arena ranking data, Image 2.0 ranks second globally in both semantic image synthesis and image editing.

xAI has also added ready-made templates for product images, avatars, posters, game assets, and more. Grok Imagine has already begun the transition from "generating a single image" to a full-fledged image design tool. The API for Image 2.0 is not yet available.
