Bifrost Liquidity Mining Incentive Exploit Exploited by Hacker, Total Loss Approximately $720,000

August 9th. Bifrost announced that on August 8th at 19:47 Beijing time, a hacker exploited a vulnerability in the liquidity pool to steal assets worth approximately $720,000 from the vDOT single-asset pool, as well as vASTR/ASTR and vMANTA/MANTA. The stolen assets were later deposited into HitBTC and eventually flowed into Binance.

Currently, Bifrost has contacted Binance's security department to request asset freezes and has submitted reports and on-chain evidence packages to law enforcement (including transaction tracking, wallet addresses, and timestamps). Bifrost has halted all liquidity mining rewards and is conducting a comprehensive security review.
