Iranian Foreign Minister Emphasizes That the Strait of Hormuz Has Not Been Reopened

August 9th - Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi stated that Iran is in negotiations with Oman to adjust the Strait of Hormuz waterway, which has now entered its final stage. He emphasized that even if both parties reach an agreement on the waterway adjustment, it does not mean the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. The reopening of the strait still needs to meet a series of conditions.
