August 13th, according to BIT (bit.com) market data, the digital asset tokenization platform Securitize (SECZ) experienced a sudden intraday drop of over 20%, with the stock price at $6.3.

Securitize, known for issuing and managing BlackRock's BUIDL tokenized money market fund, released its first post-listing financial report below expectations. The revenue was $14.4 million, a 5% decrease from the same period last year, falling short of analysts' expectations of $20.6 million. Securitize reported a loss per share of $2.37, significantly higher than the expected loss of $0.15 per share. The net loss totaled $21.7 million, with adjusted EBITDA shifting from a profit of $1.8 million in the same period last year to a loss of $5.5 million.
