X-Agent Launches 2026 AI MCP Hackathon, Collaborates with OKX.AI to Establish Agent Commercialization Monetization Channel

Recently, the Web3 AI ecosystem network X-Agent announced the official launch of the "X-Agent AI MCP Hackathon 2026: Build, Verify, MCPize, Monetize" online hackathon. This hackathon is open to global developers and the Web3 AI team, aiming to break the limitations of being limited to mere demos, and instead create AI APIs / on-chain capabilities that are truly callable, verifiable, and have sustainable monetization capabilities.

Zero-Threshold Standardization, from API to Agent Business Tool

This event will last for nearly 4 weeks, including a 5-day warm-up period and a 14-day development and construction period. Participants do not need to build a complex MCP (Model Context Protocol) framework themselves; they only need to develop core AI or cryptographic functions based on APIs and submit the source code. Projects that pass technical verification and security audits will be assisted by X-Agent in standardization and packaging into MCP tools that conform to the Agent architecture.

Straight to the OKX.AI ecosystem, achieving pay-per-call and on-demand monetization

As a core benefit of this hackathon, high-quality award-winning projects will be recommended by X-Agent and listed on the OKX.AI Intelligent Agent Marketplace. Through the A2MCP and x402 protocols (combined with the OKX X Layer on-chain gasless USDC settlement channel), developers will receive continuous one-time payment revenue (Pay-Per-Call Revenue Share) whenever other AI Agents or users call upon their tool.

Four Main Theme Tracks and Stringent Audit Rules

The event includes 4 major AI / Web3 / on-chain automation theme tracks. The organizers have specifically stated that to ensure ecosystem security, security audit projects involving smart contract audits, security risk control, phishing, and rug-pull detection will not be included in this competition.
