Circle CEO: The vision behind founding Circle is being realized through Arc.

September 16: After the launch of the Arc mainnet, Circle co-founder and CEO Jeremy Allaire said that Circle's original vision was to build a new open economic layer for the internet, enabling money, contracts, and machines to run on a new type of distributed computing engine. Allaire likened this economic layer to an "operating system" and said, "This operating system officially launched today on Arc for everyone."
