Premiere and AE are starting to be dismantled by Agents, Mirage releases Tesseract.

Beating AI News Flash: AI video company Mirage has launched Tesseract, turning the core editing, motion graphics, and sound capabilities of Premiere and After Effects into tools that AI Agents can directly invoke. Agents such as GPT-6 Astra and Sol can directly edit footage, create motion effects, composite visuals, and process audio without needing to operate the interfaces of traditional editing software.

The core of Tesseract is a video engine that runs locally, which then connects to Agents through Plugins or Skills. ChatGPT, Codex, Claude Code, and others can all use it. It currently supports Mac and Windows, with video preview and final rendering both completed locally.

After users hand over the footage to the Agent, they can directly say, "Move the title a bit earlier," "Slow down this animation," or "Lower the background music a bit." The Agent will modify the corresponding shots, layers, keyframes, and audio tracks without regenerating the entire video. The project is also preserved and can continue to be modified afterward.
