U.S. pre-market news at a glance: rate-hike cooling narrative continues, mainstream crypto treasury companies aggressively increase holdings.

October 5: Key pre-market news for U.S. stocks on Monday is as follows:

· The market continues to digest last Friday's weaker-than-expected September nonfarm payrolls data, with focus shifting to this week's FOMC meeting minutes and subsequent inflation data.

· Cleveland Fed President Hammack said the employment data is consistent with recent trends, and the Fed still has time before deciding its next move.

· White House Council of Economic Advisers Chairman Miran questioned the rationale for a September rate hike, suggesting the Fed should hold steady in October.

· Trump announced the establishment of a "Superintelligence Special Task Force" to coordinate the U.S. federal government's work related to superintelligence.

· The 10-year U.S. Treasury yield held at 5.277%, while the 30-year stood at 5.63%, still at multi-year highs, as traders closely watch this week's FOMC meeting minutes and long-bond auctions.

· Tesla rose slightly in pre-market trading. Musk confirmed that the company is in talks with TSMC over a Terafab chip manufacturing partnership, saying it is "just discussions, but there could be a result."

· Intel fell more than 4% at one point in pre-market trading, declining alongside Micron Technology and AMD, while Nvidia rose more than 0.5% in pre-market trading after hitting a record intraday high last Friday.

· Morgan Stanley reiterated its "overweight" rating on SpaceX with a target price of $300, arguing that its growth-adjusted valuation is about 40% lower than that of mega-cap AI peers.

· Strategy bought 334 BTC last week at an average price of $85,839, increasing its total holdings to 848,000 BTC, and repurchased $176 million of STRC.

· Bitmine added 15,112 ETH last week and now holds 6,016,414 ETH, accounting for 4.9% of the total ETH supply.

· Brent crude rose about 0.3% to $102.67 per barrel, while WTI crude fell about 0.6% to $88.92 per barrel, with oil prices diverging.

· Spot gold rose about 0.37% to around $4,154 per ounce, while spot silver rose nearly 2%.
