Trump: Will not attack Iran before midterm elections, US and Iran are having productive discussions

October 9 - Trump stated, "We are engaged in productive discussions with the Islamic Republic of Iran. I want to make it clear to everyone: despite Iran being in a very bad economic and military situation, despite the blockade continuing to be fully effective, and despite oil flowing through the Strait of Hormuz at record barrels (22 million barrels just last night, none of which came from or went to Iran!), we will not attack Iran at any time before the U.S. midterm elections on November 3. Iran will not have nuclear weapons!"
