Federal Reserve Chair Warsh will make a public appearance the day before the quiet period.

October 9th - According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) schedule, Federal Reserve Chairman Warsh will attend the IMF annual meeting in Bangkok and deliver a speech at 11:30 AM Beijing time on October 16th.

That day is also the last day for officials to enter the quiet period before the Federal Reserve's October 27-28 monetary policy meeting. The market currently bets that the Federal Reserve will pause rate hikes at the October meeting (probability of about 80%), and then raise rates in December.
