StarkWare supports Polymarket users in placing orders anonymously, launches OffMarket.
October 14: StarkWare has opened OffMarket to the public, allowing users to trade on Polymarket without publicly linking their positions to their existing accounts. The service has been in limited trial since August, based on zero-knowledge technology and sharing a privacy pool with Starknet. Currently, the deposit limit per account is 1,000 USDC, which will be adjusted later based on demand; orders are still executed on Polymarket with the same buyers and sellers at the same market prices. The service itself is non-custodial, with user keys kept in the browser. The pool contract has been audited by OpenZeppelin with no critical or high-risk issues found, and StarkWare subsequently completed formal verification.
Polymarket trading records are public on Polygon, where positions, order sizes, and history can be viewed. OffMarket still cannot completely prevent others from inferring trader identities through trade sizes or timing, and market quotes and executions themselves remain public. This product is not an official Polymarket product, has no formal partnership or special access privileges, is part of Polymarket's verified Builder program, and follows its geographic restrictions, including banning U.S. users. Independent compliance firm Financial Privacy Inc. holds the master viewing key for sanctions screening and disclosure of information as required under legal requests.
L2BEAT data shows that Starknet's shared privacy pool currently holds about $1.5 million with 17,000 deposits.
