Ledger launches AI agent authorization tool Agent Intent, users approve operations and retain private key control.
October 15 — Crypto hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger announced the launch of Ledger Agent Intent, available free of charge to all compatible Ledger signing devices starting today. AI agents can monitor the market and propose portfolio optimization suggestions, with users reviewing and approving relevant operations on their Ledger devices, while private keys remain under user control.
Ledger stated that Agent Intent will be directly integrated with OpenClaw, allowing users to register OpenClaw agents on Ledger Atom devices and authorize operations, with the OpenClaw app pre-installed on the devices. The tool also supports the Solana Foundation's Pay.sh, where agent requests can enter a unified queue for users to sign at a time of their choosing.
On privacy, Ledger has partnered with Venice AI. The company said agents can access AI capabilities while user data will not become model training data for other parties.
