Is X Treating All Kimi Posts as Ads? Multiple Bloggers Locked Out, Even Critical Posts Required to Be Labeled as Paid
Beating AI News Flash: Multiple overseas bloggers report that recently, any post featuring reviews or commentary related to Kimi K3.1 Pro may be flagged by X as paid promotion. Even without receiving payment, accounts are locked and users must first add a "Paid Partnership" label to restore their accounts and file an appeal.
Review blogger Lumina stated that they only tested the model via Arena before its release, received no payment, and did not have early access from Kimi officially, yet two of their posts were penalized.
Tech writer Ramez Naam encountered the same situation. They merely reposted Artificial Analysis's evaluation results and shared their opinion.
Another blogger, Da7em, was still required to add the label even after publicly criticizing Kimi's subscription service.
Some, in order to recover their accounts, had no choice but to add the label first and then delete the posts, to avoid misleading followers into thinking they were paid. It remains unclear why X is systematically penalizing these posts.
