Payward's CF Benchmarks launches CFB oracle service to provide benchmark data for blockchain applications.

Oct 27, 22:29

October 27 - CF Benchmarks' pricing indices provide the pricing basis for BlackRock's Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) and CME Group's cryptocurrency futures. As more financial institutions attempt to offer traditional investment products through decentralized finance (DeFi), the company is bringing its market data to blockchain networks.

CF Benchmarks, owned by Kraken's parent company Payward, has launched the CFB oracle service to provide benchmark data on cryptocurrencies, stocks, bonds, commodities, and foreign exchange for blockchain applications.

The service aims to enable developers of blockchain investment products to use the same pricing infrastructure as major financial institutions.
