U.S. stocks opened steady awaiting FOMC, memory and optical communication stocks mostly rise.

October 28, US stocks opened with the Dow flat, the S&P 500 up 0.19%, and the Nasdaq up 0.28%.

In terms of individual stocks, according to data from the BIT stock platform, Seagate Technology fell 3.8% after Morgan Stanley cut its target price.

Storage and optical communication concept stocks mostly rose: SK Hynix gained 8.6%, Micron Technology rose 3.8%, Corning added 1.9%, and SNDK climbed 5.1%.

Among crypto concept stocks, MSTR fell 1.2%, COIN dropped 1.67%, and HOOD declined 4.88%.
