OKX, ICE, and Trade.xyz Join Forces to Bring Perpetual Futures to the U.S. Regulated Market
October 29: OKX founder and CEO Star stated on social media that he will push perpetual contracts into the regulated U.S. market. The project is being advanced jointly by Intercontinental Exchange (ICE, the parent company of the NYSE), on-chain perpetual contract platform Trade.xyz, and OKX.
According to public information, ICE has signed a definitive agreement with Trade.xyz and plans to build an independent trading and clearing system in the United States to support 7×24-hour perpetual contract trading in stocks, indices, commodities, foreign exchange, and crypto assets. Among them, ICE will serve as the exclusive operator of this U.S. market, Trade.xyz will be ICE's exclusive partner for launching this business in the United States, and distribution to retail users will be carried out through a joint venture between ICE and OKX.
Star stated that this cooperation will combine ICE's institutional-grade market infrastructure, Trade.xyz's on-chain innovation capabilities, and OKX's distribution and trading technology, and is expected to form a new generation of global, all-weather financial markets.
