Paxos: 1,906 PAXG tokens related to the Binance theft case have been frozen.

October 30: Stablecoin and wrapped token issuer Paxos posted on social media, stating:

Earlier today, public reports showed that Binance was affected by a security incident. Blockchain analysis indicates that PAXG tokens held on the Binance platform were transferred to addresses suspected to be those of the attacker.

After confirming the relevant reports through its own blockchain investigation, Paxos froze 1,906.67 PAXG tokens in the following wallet: 0x5227f603C1eE34CE3C06eFe6477003BDfCCB2f8c

Paxos systems were not affected by this incident. The reserves for PAXG, PYUSD, and USDG remain fully intact, and redemptions continue to operate normally. Paxos will provide updates in due course as details are disclosed.
