SlowMist: Stolen TRX from Binance linked to Phemex-related address via Bitget Wallet bridge

October 30 - On-chain tracking tool MistTrack has linked the fund path related to the Binance theft case to an address that has a transfer connection with the stolen funds from the trading platform Phemex. According to the report, MistTrack traced TRX associated with Binance, which was transferred through the Bitget Wallet cross-chain bridge to an Ethereum address during the money laundering process. This destination address had previously been used by the Phemex hacker and has a transfer connection with the stolen funds from Phemex.

The report also pointed out that on-chain records can corroborate the relevant wallet transfers and ETH receipts, but the fact that both parties' funds flowed into the same destination does not necessarily mean it can be determined whether the perpetrators of the two theft cases are the same person.
