Beating AI News Flash: Musk's brain-computer interface company Neuralink demonstrated a new feature: users only need to attempt to say "Hey Neuralink" in their mind, then describe the task they want to complete, and Grok Agent can autonomously operate the computer without manually typing commands.

Neuralink engineers recently visited the home of an ALS subject and spent 72 consecutive hours developing and testing new features. In addition to the Grok Agent prototype, the team also achieved automatic recognition of speech intent, brain-signal input method, and iPhone calls. The subject can generate speech through the brain-computer interface, call his wife, and even place orders at a coffee shop.

Two days ago, Neuralink also announced early results from its speech restoration trial: an ALS subject reached an output rate of 75 English words per minute in the first week of use, with a word error rate of 5.8%.

Musk predicted that in the coming years, the information output speed of brain-computer interfaces will far exceed human speech or typing.
