On October 20, Musk posted on X saying the platform's timeline recommendations have undergone two important adjustments: a new AI ranking model can more accurately predict how long users are likely to stay; and the retrieval model has been trained to recommend posts that users will read in full. He also said that X users' active usage time is growing exponentially, hitting record highs almost every day.
