JPMorgan Predicts Bitcoin Will Be the Highest-Returning Asset Over the Next Decade

October 20 – Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan posted on X that JPMorgan has included Bitcoin in its Long-Term Capital Markets Assumptions report and predicts Bitcoin will be the highest-returning asset over the next decade. The report gives Bitcoin an expected volatility of 55%, versus 17.2% for gold. Hougan said the report comes with a large number of caveats and views Bitcoin as still in a maturing stage. He believes the report's volatility assumption is too high and its return assumption too low.
