Injective designates Korean won stablecoin KRW1 as sole KRW settlement asset for RWA and tokenization activities

On October 20, citing The Block, Injective has signed a memorandum of understanding with BDACS, positioning the Korean won-pegged stablecoin "KRW1" launched by BDACS as the sole KRW settlement asset for RWA and tokenization activities on the Injective network. The partnership aims to enable tokenized assets to be traded and settled directly in Korean won on the Injective network, without needing to go through USD stablecoins as an intermediary. The minting and redemption of KRW1 is limited to approved institutional partners and must comply with regulatory requirements.
