OpenAI Acquires Drug Development Collaboration Platform Orchestra Bio

October 21 — According to an official OpenAI announcement, OpenAI has acquired Orchestra Bio, a drug development collaboration platform. The platform helps biopharmaceutical teams coordinate complex drug development processes, allowing scientists and project leaders to hand off monitoring and tracking of research and trials to AI agents. OpenAI stated that it will integrate Orchestra's team and technology with Rosalind, its life sciences research AI model and tools, to help new therapies reach patients faster.
