Payward's CF Benchmarks Launches Oracle Service CFB Oracle

Oct 27, 22:29

October 27: According to CoinDesk, index provider CF Benchmarks, a subsidiary of Kraken parent company Payward, has announced the launch of an oracle service called CFB Oracle. Blockchain applications can use the service to access its benchmark indexes for cryptocurrencies, equities, bonds, commodities and foreign exchange, for building on-chain index funds, tokenized portfolios and derivatives. BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF and CME crypto futures both use its indexes, and the related products have over $120 billion in assets. The service is already live on Ethereum, HyperEVM and Robinhood Chain. Data is digitally signed so its source can be verified. Each index is published at the same frequency for all clients, with no extra charge for faster access to data. Payward plans to use it for a US perpetual contract product based on Hyperliquid, which is still awaiting regulatory approval. CFB Oracle will compete with Chainlink and Pyth.
