Hang Seng Hong Kong-US Technology Index to Add Anthropic, Adjusts Calculation Methodology

Oct. 28: Hang Seng Indexes Company announced that the Hang Seng Hong Kong-US Technology Index will add Anthropic, PBC (ticker: ANT.O) to its list of designated US-listed constituents, provided that Anthropic confirms its listing. The weights of the 9 US-listed constituents will be recalculated to equal weighting after the market close on the 7th trading day following Anthropic's listing, and the new constituent and new weights will take effect on the 11th trading day.

The index will also update its stock selection universe, constituent selection criteria, fast-entry mechanism and the replacement rules for constituents temporarily removed, and will add a liquidity requirement. The new methodology will be adopted starting from the index review as of Sept. 30, 2026, with the related constituent changes effective on Dec. 14. The index name and code remain unchanged.
