Tether Joins Forces with Multiple Organizations to Launch FASE Foundation, Plans Stablecoin Humanitarian Aid Pilot
October 28: Tether announced the establishment of FASE (Financial Access and Systemic Empowerment), a Swiss non-profit foundation. The foundation focuses on four areas: financial security, financial inclusion, access to resources, and responsible AI and robotics. Founding members include Kraken, Bybit, Chainalysis, Anchorage Digital, and the Solana Foundation, among others, with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) serving as a strategic partner. There are two inaugural projects. The first is a partnership with Goodwall to provide anti-scam education to up to 10 million young people. The second is a pilot with Prosper Global (formerly Mercy Corps) to distribute humanitarian aid using stablecoins, initially reaching up to 1 million people.
