October 30: Zhao Changpeng (CZ) posted on X asking Musk to "stop the teasing," saying Binance invested $500 million to help Musk acquire Twitter back then, and the SPCX shares it received in return are now worth more than $1 billion, expressing hope that Musk would "show a little support."
Earlier, 0xngmi posted that Binance's custodial assets total about $144 billion, and that after USDT and USDC were frozen, total losses came to about $1 billion, or 0.69% of custodial assets. Zhao Changpeng responded that the actual loss "may be slightly higher than that," but Binance will cover it in full. Subsequently, user @HuaweiMate6 posted a teasing image, and Musk replied with a "😬" emoji.
