Nov 3, 22:08

November 3: According to Decrypt, the foundation of Ethereum privacy Layer 2 network Aztec has announced the launch of the Aztec Tierra upgrade (Alpha V6). The upgrade fixes a critical vulnerability discovered in the V5 version, adds AI-driven security testing tools, and performs formal verification on core cryptographic components. In terms of performance, client-side proof generation takes about 1 second on ordinary devices, doubling the speed. Ethereum-to-Aztec messaging time has been shortened from an average of 2 minutes to as fast as 12 seconds. Privacy applications launching alongside include zk.money, Galactica, Nemi, Nulo and Rolling Chat. Aztec currently has more than 3,000 validators and has previously raised $17 million.
