Gate Officially Launches Taiwan Stock Trading, Debuting 19 Popular Names Including TSMC and MediaTek
November 4 — According to an official announcement, Gate has officially launched its Taiwan stock trading service, initially covering 19 stocks listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE), including representative names such as TSMC (2330), MediaTek (2454), Hon Hai (2317) and Quanta (2382). The lineup spans semiconductors, AI servers, electronics manufacturing and financials, further enriching investment targets related to the global technology supply chain.
On the trading mechanism side, users can participate in Taiwan stock trading directly with USDT through their Gate stock account, without having to convert to New Taiwan dollars themselves. Stock prices, position market values and profit/loss are displayed in New Taiwan dollars (TWD), while trading fees are converted and deducted in USDT according to the platform's fee schedule and applicable exchange rates. Trading supports the continuous auction session from 09:00 to 13:25 (UTC+8) on regular trading days, and users can use their existing stock accounts to place buy and sell orders, manage positions and check records.
With the official launch of Taiwan stocks, Gate's stock trading service now covers five major markets — US, Hong Kong, Korean, Japanese and Taiwan stocks — supporting more than 12,800 stocks and ETF assets in total. The launch strengthens Gate TradFi's presence in Asian capital markets. In the future, Gate will continue to expand into major global capital markets and asset classes, optimize trading functions and the asset management experience, and drive the integration of digital assets and traditional financial services.
