Asset Manager Schroders Brings Emerging Market Bond Fund to Solana

Nov 4, 21:51

November 4 — According to CoinDesk, global asset manager Schroders, which manages $1.1 trillion in assets, announced a partnership with tokenization platform Centrifuge to tokenize its SISF Emerging Market Bonds strategy and deploy it on Solana. This is Schroders' first product deployment on Solana. Legally, the product is a feeder fund with an onchain share class that invests in the Schroders emerging market bond fund, and investors hold tokenized shares of the feeder fund. Previously, in August this year, Schroders received approval from Irish regulators to launch SOAR, its first tokenized USD money market fund share class. According to RWA.xyz data, within the roughly $39 billion tokenized real-world asset market, tokenized U.S. Treasuries and money market funds still account for about $14 billion.
