ZetaChain: ZETA to Migrate to Solana on December 9, Privacy AI App ZetaLabs to Launch Simultaneously
November 5: ZetaChain posted on X that on December 9, the ZETA token will migrate to Solana and become a native token, and the privacy AI app ZetaLabs will launch at the same time, with ZETA serving as its core token.
The second governance proposal is now open for voting on ZetaHub and will close on November 7, specifying the migration mechanism, timeline and holder protection measures. If the proposal passes, the ZetaChain L1 will cease operations around December 9, ZETA will migrate 1:1 to a Solana native token, and minting authority will be permanently revoked. Holders need take no action before then. In 2027, ZETA's supply will decrease rather than increase. About 55 million unallocated validator rewards will be burned monthly according to the original release schedule, and no inflation will occur after the migration. All tokens of investors and core contributors will be fully unlocked on January 1, 2027. The foundation has also committed not to sell the ZETA newly unlocked in 2027 that it holds.
