Solana Company Plans to Expand Hong Kong Team to 30, Build Out Tokenization Business

Nov 6, 20:52

November 6: According to the South China Morning Post, Joseph Chee, chairman and CEO of Nasdaq-listed SOL treasury company Solana Company, said the company plans to expand its Hong Kong team from fewer than 10 people at present to as many as 30 to capture growing tokenization demand in Hong Kong. He believes several major financial institutions in Hong Kong have only just begun to consider or launch tokenization projects, and that progress there remains slower than in the United States. The company expects to form a view on the Hong Kong market in about six months; if Hong Kong still lacks a major tokenization service provider by then, the company may build its own team. Last month, Solana Company was recognized as a key enterprise by Hong Kong's Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises, and its Hong Kong operations also serve as its Asia-Pacific headquarters.
