Mysten Labs and Google Cloud are jointly developing an AI Agent verification system that will leverage Sui and Walrus to enable behavior attestation.

On October 6, Mysten Labs, the core development company behind Sui, announced a collaboration with Google Cloud to develop the Verifiable Agent Arbiter (VAA). This initiative aims to establish an independently verifiable behavioral record system for enterprise AI Agents, ensuring their operations stay within authorized scopes while meeting enterprise audit and regulatory compliance requirements.

According to the announcement, VAA will adopt an architecture combining Google Cloud Storage, Walrus, and Sui. Detailed data such as AI Agent instructions, model outputs, tool calls, and decision logs will be stored in enterprise-controlled Google Cloud Storage, while corresponding cryptographic proofs will be stored on Walrus and coordinated and verified via the Sui blockchain.

Additionally, VAA will integrate with the Sui Agent Payments infrastructure to support automated AI Agent payments based on the x402 protocol, and provide cryptographic attestation for authorization, fund spending decisions, and service delivery processes.

Mysten Labs stated that it plans to initiate preliminary deployments with enterprise clients before gradually expanding its service coverage, with no official public launch date announced yet.
