Polygon Integrates Tron into Open Money Stack to Support One-Stop USDT Swaps
On October 8 that, according to CoinDesk, Polygon Labs has officially integrated the TRON network into its Open Money Stack platform to address technical fragmentation in enterprise cross-chain stablecoin payments. As the world's second-largest public blockchain network, TRON currently has over $94 billion in USDT in circulation. Following this update, remittance institutions, fintechs, and payment providers can charge customers directly through their bank accounts, debit cards, or cash via a single integration interface, converting the funds into USDT on the TRON network.
Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal pointed out that the service enables enterprises to complete closed-loop transactions without separately connecting to wallet providers, liquidity bridges, or fiat gateway providers, significantly reducing the development barrier for cross-border transfers and stablecoin payments. Polygon also emphasized that while the operational process has been streamlined, related businesses must still comply with existing regulatory requirements and licensing obligations, and this partnership does not alter the technical nature of TRON.
