Analysts: Short-term holders engage in panic selling, with loss-selling pressure hitting a near four-month high.

Oct 8, 22:10

On October 8, on-chain analyst Darkfost noted panic sentiment among short-term holders. In the past 24 hours, short-term holders deposited over 50,000 BTC to exchanges at daily peaks.

Of this, over 29,500 BTC (accounting for approximately 59% of the total amount transferred to exchanges) were moved at a loss, marking the largest single-day loss volume for this group in nearly four months. Despite significant sell pressure, Bitcoin's price action has remained relatively stable, currently retesting the previous high from May this year around $82,000.
