Helius CEO Mert Mumtaz Joins NEAR Foundation Board

On October 15 that, according to The Block, Mert Mumtaz, CEO of Solana infrastructure company Helius, has officially joined the NEAR Foundation Council to assist in guiding product strategy, ecosystem growth, and governance. Existing council members include NEAR co-founder Illia Polosukhin and Anchorage Digital co-founder Diogo Mónica, among others. Mumtaz was previously an early user of NEAR Intents and once referred to it as a "market within a market."
