Musk: Optimus and Cybercab Will Make Up the Vast Majority of Tesla's Future Value

On October 18 that Elon Musk posted on the X platform stating that Optimus (humanoid robot) and Cybercab (driverless taxi) will ultimately constitute the vast majority of Tesla's value. He believes that the only fields capable of scaling economically to an extremely massive level are superintelligence, robotics, solar energy, and space transportation. Once superintelligence and robotics are achieved, progress in other areas will inevitably follow.

Musk also noted that although the Roadster does not align with the aforementioned core scaling initiatives, Tesla will continue to advance the project simply because the vehicle itself is "very cool."
