On Oct. 19, citing The Block and referencing Korean media Digital Asset, that Mirae Asset Securities plans to launch tokenized products in Q1 2027, with the initial offerings including tokenized money market funds (MMFs) and private placement bonds.

For background, Mirae Asset acquired the Korean cryptocurrency exchange Korbit earlier this year, renamed its operating company to Digital X, and simultaneously established four key focus areas: cryptocurrency, stablecoins, real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, and security token offerings (STO).
