Coinbase Forms Strategic Partnership with Thunes to Integrate Stablecoins and Global Fiat Payments

On October 20, following an October 19 announcement by Coinbase and Thunes, the two parties have entered a strategic partnership to integrate stablecoin infrastructure with a global fiat payment network, supporting corporate cross-border payments, gig economy compensation, and personal international remittances. Under the agreement, Coinbase will connect to Thunes' Direct Global Network, enabling users to receive cross-border payments through local bank accounts and mobile wallets; Thunes will, in turn, implement Coinbase's stablecoin infrastructure.
