Blockchain.com officially launches crypto options trading, initially supporting 7 assets including BTC and HYPE.

On October 20, according to PRNewswire, Blockchain.com officially launched its options trading feature. Upon initial release, the feature supports seven assets: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Hyperliquid (HYPE), Avalanche (AVAX), XRP, and TRON (TRX). Users can purchase call or put options and select expiration dates and target prices. Option tenors can be up to one week, settlements require USDC prepaid via the Trading Account, and positions must be held until expiration for settlement.
