Blockaid: X100 under sustained attack, attackers have acquired approximately 4.85 million USDT and 550,000 X tokens
On October 24, blockchain security company Blockaid posted on the X platform stating that the X100 project on Ethereum is under continuous attack, with three attackers identified who exploited the project's governance and liquidity management mechanisms to carry out the attacks.
According to Blockaid, the first attacker controlled 2 of the 3 seats in X100's Senate governance mechanism and sold 400,000 X tokens from the project treasury into an empty liquidity pool they created. Subsequently, the second attacker burned the Uniswap V3 liquidity position held by Freezer.
Latest updates indicate that the third attacker utilized the same Senate operational path to withdraw the Uniswap V3 liquidity position corresponding to the remaining approximately 550,000 X tokens. To date, the three attack transactions have enabled the attackers to acquire approximately 4.85 million USDT and around 550,000 X, while approximately 12.2 million X tokens remain in Freezer. Blockaid stated that the attacks are ongoing.
