Vanguard ETF First Discloses Holding 4.5 Million Metaplanet Shares, Gains Indirect Bitcoin Exposure

On October 27, as disclosed by Coin Bureau, Vanguard, an asset management company with $13 trillion in assets under management, gained indirect Bitcoin exposure by investing in Japanese Bitcoin treasury company Metaplanet through its VSS ETF. The ETF's initial disclosure revealed holdings of approximately 4.5 million Metaplanet shares, valued at around $7.5 million.
