Cysic Updates Security Incident Response Progress: 7.2 Million CYS Burned to Offset Unauthorized Additional Issuance Volume

On October 28, Cysic released an update on its security incident response progress, disclosing the completion of burning 7,200,002 CYS tokens on the BNB Smart Chain (BSC) to offset previously unauthorized token minting. Both burn transactions have been confirmed on-chain, permanently reducing the CYS token supply on BSC and bringing it back into alignment with the project's tokenomics.
