CrowdStrike Launches AI Agent Kill Switch, Plans to Acquire Fiddler

On November 4, according to a CrowdStrike announcement, the company has introduced an AI Kill Switch in Falcon Guardian that can terminate unauthorized AI agents in real time via gateways and prevent them from running again within the organization. The company plans to acquire Fiddler AI to enhance agent observability.

CrowdStrike stated that the AI Gateway is now officially available to centrally inspect prompts and responses, monitor usage, and enforce security policies. The kill switch will also support terminating agents on endpoints in the future; the acquired Fiddler technology will be used to evaluate agents prior to deployment and explain their actions.
